Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dutch Hand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ned Schnidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schnidt has chosen PHamous by Midi Mafia as his entrance music. Ned Schnidt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dutch Hand! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ned Schnidt! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut there from Schnidt. Schnidt looks to land a right hand but Hand moved out of range. Schnidt connects with a body shot that sends Hand's belly button to the back. Hand shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Schnidt sprawls well. Schnidt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hand gets slowly back to his feet. Schnidt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hands jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Schnidt cracks Hand with an open hand slap.
It looks like Dutch Hand has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Schnidt misses with an uppercut. Hand throws a solid leg kick but Schnidt takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hand. Schnidt dips to his left and cracks Hand with an uppercut! Hand on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Schnidt moves into the clinch. Schnidt has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hand clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! A lull in the action here.
Schnidt is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Schnidt gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Schnidt gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Schnidt apologises and we restart here on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Schnidt.
Schnidt wants to clinch. Schnidt is looking to clinch. Hand scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Hand takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Schnidt wants to get back to his feet. Schnidt keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Schnidt is looking to escape. Hand working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Schnidt's thigh. Schnidt counters though and makes it back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hand pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Schnidt is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hand trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hand works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hand sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Schnidt defending well though. Hand working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Schnidt's thigh. Schnidt counters though and makes it back to full guard. Schnidt keeping moving, preventing Hand from controlling successfully. Schnidt working a defensive guard here.
Hand won't allow Schnidt to get back to his feet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hand accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hand trying to control the position from guard on top but Schnidt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hand might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Schnidt is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schnidt lands a left hand.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Schnidt has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hand regains guard immediately. Hand bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Schnidt's guard. Hand throwing strikes but missing. Hand trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hand in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hand tries to free his leg and advance position but Schnidt is retaining full guard. Schnidt wants to stand and escape but Hand is having none of it. Hand missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hand prevents Schnidt from getting back to his feet. Hand trying to control but Schnidt is working from the bottom. Hand wants to pass the guard but Schnidt is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schnidt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hand trying to control but Schnidt is working from the bottom. Hand trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Schnidt is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Schnidt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Schnidt wants it to stay on the feet. Schnidt throws a hook but Hand blocks it. Hand keeps the fight on the outside. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hand uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Schnidt. The fighters circling - Schnidt throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hand ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hand is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Schnidt's half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ned Schnidt dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dutch Hand's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Schnidt closes the distance and clinches. A short uppercut from Schnidt. Hand is fighting off a takedown attempt but Schnidt is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hand to the mat. Hand regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Schnidt lands a couple of digs. Schnidt content to stall in guard here. Hand keeping moving, preventing Schnidt from controlling successfully. Hand looking to hit a scissor sweep but Schnidt is one step ahead there. Schnidt working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hand's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schnidt cracks Hand with a solid left hand. Hand looking to hit a scissor sweep but Schnidt is one step ahead there. Schnidt is looking to work some ground and pound but Hand has wrist control. Schnidt throws and elbow that misses. Hand uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Schnidt's guard. Nice move by Hand! Hand has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Schnidt tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hand is looking to work some ground and pound but Schnidt has wrist control. Hand content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Schnidt wants to get back to his feet but Hand is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hand distracts Schnidt with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Schnidt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hand trying to control the position from guard on top but Schnidt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hand throwing strikes from guard but Schnidt blocks nicely. Hand looking to sit in guard and control but Schnidt gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hand wants to sweep but no luck. Ned Schnidt has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schnidt trying to control but Hand is working from the bottom. Hand keeping full guard, as Schnidt tries to pass. Schnidt thows a big elbow that misses. Schnidt throwing strikes from guard but Hand blocks nicely. Hand keeping moving, preventing Schnidt from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Schnidt throwing strikes from guard but Hand blocks nicely. Schnidt advances to half guard. Schnidt sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hand defending well though. Hand is staying active underneath Schnidt, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hand taking some punishment here, with Schnidt in his half guard. Schnidt looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Schnidt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hand regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Schnidt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ned Schnidt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dutch Hand's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Schnidt lands a jab to the head.
Schnidt checks a leg kick. Schnidt thuds his right hand into Hand's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Schnidt tries to clinch but Hand moves out of range. Hand slips a jab from Schnidt. A head kick misses from Hand. Schnidt tries to clinch up. Schnidt looks to land a combination but Hand avoids it well. Schnidt throws the left hand but Hand avoids the punch easily. Hand slips under a jab from Schnidt. Hand fails with a takedown attempt. Hand slips a jab from Schnidt. Schnidt might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Hand shoots for a takedown but Schnidt saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schnidt missing with a left hand there. Hand was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hand shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Hand landing strikes from the mount and Schnidt is in trouble! Schnidt is bucking up trying to escape but Hand cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Hand trying to control but Schnidt is having none of it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Schnidt is trying to stand. Hand dominating with strikes here. Schnidt tries to hold on but Hand postures up. Hand throwing strikes here but Schnidt is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The referee warns Schnidt that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Schnidt is rocked!
It looks like Ned Schnidt has been cut. Whack. That's a big, big shot from Hand! Schnidt is out cold! This one is all over!
