Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Voorhees (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Correa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voorhees comes to the cage accompanied by St. Anger. Jason Voorhees is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Voorhees!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Correa!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voorhees shoots in for a double leg but Correa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Voorhees connects with a leg kick. Correa looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Voorhees shoots in looking for a takedown but Correa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Voorhees's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Voorhees shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Voorhees is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Correa defends it well.
Voorhees passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Correa!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Voorhees tries to control but Correa wriggling away.

Voorhees thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Voorhees is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Correa to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Correa shrugs it off.

Voorhees stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Voorhees is trying hard to land a takedown here. Correa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Correa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Voorhees.

Correa throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Voorhees throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Correa's waist but Correa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Voorhees off to one side.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Correa leaves Voorhees with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Voorhees fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Correa avoids it really well and circles away.
Voorhees is breathing heavily.
Correa stuffs the takedown attempt from Voorhees. Voorhees gets slowly back to his feet.
Voorhees closes the distance and clinches up with Correa, looking for a takedown. Voorhees pushes Correa against the cage but Correa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Correa counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Voorhees fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Some bone on bone action there as Voorhees checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Correa counters with a nice uppercut.
Voorhees looks for a takedown but Correa sprawls well.
Jason Voorhees is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Correa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Voorhees has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Voorhees and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Voorhees closes the distance and clinches up with Correa, looking for a takedown. Voorhees pushes Correa against the cage but Correa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

so Voorhees counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Voorhees has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Correa is proving hard to escape from.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Voorhees missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Voorhees might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Voorhees throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Correa works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Voorhees is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Voorhees passes Correa's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Voorhees decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

and Correa counters with a nice body shot.
Correa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Correa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Correa catches Voorhees with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Voorhees moves in looking to clinch but Correa pushes him off.

Voorhees shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Correa as he jumps to the side.

and Correa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Voorhees closes this distance looking for a takedown but Correa circles away.

and Correa counters with an outside leg kick.
Correa misses with a double jab.
Voorhees fails with the takedown
and Correa makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Correa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Voorhees.
Voorhees shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Correa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Eric Correa will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Voorhees's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!


Correa throws a leg kick but Voorhees sees it coming and moves out of range.
Voorhees fails with a takedown attempt.
Voorhees shoots in and drives through. Correa sprawls well.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Voorhees.
Correa fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Voorhees is out of range.
Voorhees tries to score a power double leg takedown but Correa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Voorhees somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Voorhees. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Voorhees changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Correa tries to avoid it but Voorhees manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Correa to the ground. Correa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Correa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Correa holds on and takes a little breather.

Voorhees shoots for a double leg takedown but Correa sprawls well. He's pushed Voorhees's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Correa counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Voorhees is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Correa throws a shot to the body.
Correa swings for the body but Voorhees moves out of range.
Voorhees throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Correa's waist but Correa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Voorhees off to one side.
That kick from Correa tenderised Voorhees's leg. Voorhees is trying to keep his angry face on.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Correa lands a nice hook to Voorhees's body. Voorhees takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Voorhees shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Correa defends it nicely.
Voorhees has his takedown stuffed
and Correa counters with a two punch combo.
Correa walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Voorhees checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Correa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Voorhees.
Correa throws a body punch but Voorhees moves out of range.
Correa moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Eric Correa seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Voorhees with a poor takedown
and Correa counters with a lovely shot to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
Eric Correa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Correa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
