The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapid throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Vanier is rocked!
Lapid throws a nice inside leg kick.
Oh Vanier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lapid lands with a good body shot.
Vanier seems to have got his legs back now.
A big left from Vanier misses.
Lapid throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lapid misses the jab.

Lapid lands a big head kick that sends Vanier tumbling to the mat! Lapid takes a step backwards and waves Vanier back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lapid lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Vanier head around and knocks him out cold! Lapid hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
