Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hawk Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Price is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Behind Closed Doors - Rise Against. Lincoln Hawk is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lincoln Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hawk Price! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Price keeps the fight on the outside. Price fails with a takedown attempt. Donk. Hawk catches Price right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Hawk Price has been cut. Price shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hawk as he avoids it easily. Price misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lincoln Hawk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hawk Price. Price takes the fight into the clinch. Price tries to pull guard but Hawk won't allow it.
Hawk scores with a hook to the body. Hawk breaks the clinch.
Price takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hawk misses the jab. Hawk tries to clinch but fails miserably and Price decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hawk's guard. Hawk is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Price trying to control the position from guard on top but Hawk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hawk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Price's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hawk is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hawk with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Price keeping moving, preventing Hawk from controlling successfully. Hawk sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lincoln Hawk has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Hawk cracks Price with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Hawk with a hook. Hawk looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hawk wants to control from the top but Price keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Price looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Price can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hawk controls the pace. Price manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hawk manages to get himself to full guard.
Hawk wants to sweep here but Price controlling him for the moment. Price drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hawk manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Price has Hawk in his guard. Hawk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawk tries to free his leg and advance position but Price is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawk trying to move into half guard but instead Price has managed to sweep! Hawk wants to sweep here but Price controlling him for the moment. Price must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hawk manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lincoln Hawk dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hawk Price's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Price gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hawk to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hawk scoring with punches to the head and body. Hawk trying to control but Price is working from the bottom. Hawk pushes down on Price's leg and manages to get into half guard. Price is looking to improve his position.
Hawk passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Price turns into him and now he's in Hawk's guard.
Price wants to control from the top but Hawk keeps moving. Price looking to sit in guard and control but Hawk gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Price has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hawk is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Price.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Price tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hawk wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hawk trying to control the action but Price is working from the bottom. Hawk is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Price has escaped the position, nice work there. Price sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawk is looking to advance position but Price won't allow it. Price is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Hawk has latched onto it... Big trouble! Hawk pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Price is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Hawk!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Lincoln Hawk!
