Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Heineken Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Heineken Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Ace! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ace is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Jones gets caught flat footed, as Ace shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ace must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones has his foot on Ace's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ace works his way back into a safe position though. Ace sitting in guard here, content to control. Ace really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ace is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jones Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ace's back instead. Ace is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jones gets his way!
Ace looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Jones is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ace knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ace for a finish. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones working for a guillotine from mount but Ace is in no mood to give up. Jones wants to take Ace's back here but Ace is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Ace tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jones fails to take his opponent's back. Jones moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ace has worked his arm free - good work by Ace!

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ace knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Ace struggling a bit here. Ace manages to get back to half guard. Ace is holding on to half guard well. Let's hope that Ace has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Ace lands a couple of sideways elbows. Ace is defending against the submission attempts here by Jones.
Ace moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ace is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ace is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Ace is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ace is on top in guard.
Ace stands up and waves to Jones to follow him. Johnny Ace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ace decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jones is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ace controlling the action here. Ace gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jones isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ace stacks Jones on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ace! Jones is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ace remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Jones is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ace off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Ace dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ace slows the pace down in half guard. Jones gets full guard. Jones has his foot on Ace's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones drops back looking for a leg! Ace is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ace manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Ace's guard. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Ace is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ace is on top in guard.

Heineken Jones dominated that second round. That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ace counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jones's guard now. Jones throws his legs up looking for a submission but Ace uses it to pass to side control.
Jones gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Jones looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Ace pushes past his half guard into mount! Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jones is working hard here to advance position. Jones regains half guard. Ace prevents Jones from improving his position. Ace takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ace is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ace controlling the action here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ace doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ace counters with a big head kick but Jones shrugs it off. Jones moves out of range of the body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones tries for a takedown but Ace circles away easily and Ace decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard.
