The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbas tries for a takedown but Jiggawhat sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Abbas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jiggawhat thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jiggawhat misses with a low kick.
Jiggawhat fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Abbas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Abbas shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nino Abbas. That's going to take a lot out of him.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Abbas. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Jiggawhat feints with a jab and clips Abbas right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Abbas is sent crashing into the canvas and Jiggawhat leaps in for the kill! Abbas tries to get to his feet but Jiggawhat is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Abbas is in need of a savior and steps in!
