Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Heath Legg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Legg comes to the cage accompanied by Angel of Death. Smith has chosen Smoke the Fire as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Heath Legg has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Heath Legg seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Smith!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legg stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Legg is looking to clinch.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Legg throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Legg tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Legg chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Legg connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Legg closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Legg thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Legg tries for a kimura but Smith is defending well.
Smith is pushing Legg's head away, looking to escape. Legg manages to hold on to the position though.

Legg has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Smith is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Legg yanks on the arm and Smith is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Legg.
