The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Patterson.
No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt.

Patterson doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Patterson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Patterson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Silva is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Patterson is tapping! Great win for Silva!
