Sparta misses with an uppercut
and Ford counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Sparta is trying to control the position but Ford postures up.
Ford passes into half guard.
Ford is trying to control. Sparta wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Ford seems to be working for a kimura but Sparta defends the submission attempt.
Sparta pushes Ford off looking to stand but Ford dives back in and keeps control.
Ford has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sparta defend it? Ford steps over the head and cranks it - Sparta is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ford!
