Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clarence Kelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigo Rodrigues is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clarence Kelo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rodrigo Rodrigues!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues fails with the takedown
and Kelo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rodrigues's guard.
Kelo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kelo tries to free his leg and advance position but Rodrigues is retaining full guard.
Kelo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Clarence Kelo.
Rodrigues darts in trying to clinch
and Kelo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kelo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rodrigues looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kelo is one step ahead there.
Kelo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kelo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Clarence Kelo.
Kelo throws an off balance right hand
and Rodrigues counters with a nice body shot.
Kelo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Rodrigues tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kelo counters with a straight right hand.
Rodrigues closes the distance looking to clinch
enabling Kelo to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Rodrigo Rodrigues has been cut.
Rodrigues throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kelo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Rodrigues takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Rodrigues doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kelo counters with a huge left! Rodrigues is in big trouble! He's backing up but Kelo isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Rodrigues from any more damage. A dominating finish by Kelo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clarence Kelo!
