Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Walter Sergio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brent Robertson! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robertson clinches. Robertson pulls guard successfully.
Robertson is pulling down on Sergio's head to control his posture. Robertson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Robertson stands up and beckons Sergio to join him on the feet. Robertson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Robertson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Robertson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Robertson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Robertson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Robertson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sergio is trying to keep Robertson in close.

Let's hope that Robertson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sergio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Robertson on the ground. Robertson wants to control but Sergio is keeping him busy.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Brent Robertson was stalling too much, according to the referee. Sergio swats away the attempt to clinch by Robertson. Robertson tries to keep at a distance but Sergio has taken the fight into the clinch. Sergio being controlled against the cage. Sergio is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Robertson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sergio wants to break free but Robertson has control.
Robertson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sergio regains guard immediately. Robertson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Robertson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sergio, up you get! Walter Sergio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Robertson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sergio quickly recovers to half guard. Robertson looks gassed! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Robertson in particular looking to stall. Robertson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. I looks like Robertson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robertson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Robertson is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sergio wants to hold on but Robertson pushes him away. Robertson controlling the position easily from mount. Robertson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Robertson takes Sergio's back. Sergio looking very determined here, making life difficult for Robertson.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sergio has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Robertson. Will Robertson go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Sergio really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Robertson throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sergio just trying to survive but Robertson is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Robertson throwing wild punches that miss their target. Sergio is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Robertson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Robertson trying to control. Sergio tries to escape but Robertson has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Robertson is persistently looking for the submission but Sergio is defending it well.

Brent Robertson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Sergio tries to clinch but Robertson moves away and Robertson counters with a shoot takedown. Sergio fights it but they end up in guard. Sergio is working an open guard so Robertson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Sergio tries to clinch up but Robertson circles away and keeps his distance. Sergio misses with a takedown attempt and Robertson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Robertson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sergio is just riding it out for now. Robertson eventually gives up the hold. Robertson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sergio scores with a takedown into Robertson's guard. Robertson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

He's now in guard on top. Robertson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sergio trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robertson is working Sergio over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Robertson throwing strikes but missing. Sergio not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sergio is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Robertson postures up in Sergio's guard and throws a big left but Sergio blocks it.

Sergio misses with a takedown attempt and Robertson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Robertson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sergio throws a sloppy body shot
and Robertson counters with a single leg into guard. Sergio didn't expect that. Robertson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Robertson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Robertson uses his free foot to push down on Sergio's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sergio.
And that's the end of the fight! Brent Robertson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Robertson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
