The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rambo thows a left - swing and a miss!
A jab from Rambo finds it's way through Berrong's defenses.
Rambo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Berrong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Berrong fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rambo, pushing him back against the cage.

Rambo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Berrong's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Berrong's back!

Rambo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rambo tries to stall but Berrong uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Berrong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Berrong moves in looking to clinch but Rambo pushes him off.

Rambo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rambo.

Randal Rambo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Berrong fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rambo sprawls well initially but Berrong persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Berrong misses with a head shot. Rambo uses the momentum to regain guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Berrong is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Rambo pulls his head out easily.

Rambo turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Berrong off and cradles Rambo's limp body as Berrong celebrates with his corner.
