Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tra Thomas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Tank!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tank tries to close the distance and clinch but Thomas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tank throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tank doesn't manage to clinch there - Thomas circles away.
Thomas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Thomas closes the distance and clinches up with Tank, looking for a takedown. Thomas pushes Tank against the cage but Tank circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tank stuffs the takedown attempt from Thomas. Thomas gets slowly back to his feet.
Thomas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tra Thomas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tank just misses with a punch to the body.
Tank tries to clinch but Thomas moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thomas shoots for a double leg takedown but Tank sprawls well. He's pushed Thomas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Tra Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tank fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Thomas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tank pinned against the cage. Tank gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tank lands an overhand right.

It looks like Tra Thomas has been cut.
Thomas is looking to clinch.
Thomas shoots in but Tank avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Thomas is breathing heavily.
Thomas throws a predictable looking body shot
and Tank connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Oh Thomas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tank connects with a stiff jab that staggers Thomas - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
