Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Hickok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Clem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hickok's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH. Clem is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Full Trucker Effect. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bubba Clem was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Clem.
A shot to the body from Hickok misses
and Clem counters with a slapping leg kick.
Hickok walks into a straight right hand from Clem.
Clem throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Hickok counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hickok trying to control the action but Clem is working from the bottom.
Hickok wants to stand up but Clem has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Clem regains full guard. Nicely done.
Hickok not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Hickok uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Clem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hickok moves out of range as Clem strikes.

Clem ducks under a wild hook from Hickok.
Hickok looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Clem is fending him off so far but Hickok persists. Nope, Clem circles away and we're back to standing.

A nice inside leg kick there by Clem. That's going to slow Hickok down.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Clem stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hickok throws a low kick but it's checked well by Clem.
Clem lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hickok just misses with a punch to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bubba Clem will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hickok gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Clem decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hickok's guard.
Clem wants to pass the guard but Hickok is keeping the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Hickok ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clem moves away.
Clem throws a leg kick that is checked
and Hickok counters with a left to the body.

Hickok tests Clem's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Clem fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hickok to the ground. Clem is now in Hickok's guard.

Clem looking to sit in guard and control but Hickok gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hickok stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clem swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bubba Clem showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Clem counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Clem misses with a leg kick.
Hickok jabbing away but nothing is landing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Hickok fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Clem is out of range.

Clem creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Clem is trying to ground and pound but Hickok uses the momentary lack of control by Clem to regain half guard.

Well Clem has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
