Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Najman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Maryozep's half guard.
Najman stalling away here and it's allowed Maryozep to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Maryozep looking to hit a scissor sweep but Najman is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maryozep throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Maryozep can do anything to dispel that myth.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Maryozep shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Najman's guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Maryozep misses with a takedown attempt - Najman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Maryozep rushes Najman and presses him up against the cage.
Maryozep pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Najman closes the distance looking to clinch
and Maryozep counters with a nice double leg into side control. Najman won't be happy with that.

Najman is looking to regain half guard here but Maryozep keeps moving and retains side control.
The referee asks Maryozep politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Maryozep prefers to stall for the moment though.

Maryozep stands up and beckons Najman to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Zeus Maryozep showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Maryozep is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Zeus Maryozep comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Maryozep has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
