Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caio Gimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wells has chosen Put On-Young Jeezy feat. Kanye West as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gimenez moves out of range as Wells throws a body kick.
Wells blocks the body kick.
George Wells seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wells attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Wells throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Wells swats away the attempt to clinch by Gimenez.
Wells throws a chopping leg kick but Gimenez manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Gimenez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wells can pounce on him.
Wells throws the kick towards the body but Gimenez avoids it.
Wells throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wells wants to land a leg kick but Gimenez is out of range.
Wells keeps the fight on the outside.
Wells lands with a nice body kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gimenez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wells - the referee stops the clock and Gimenez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wells. Gimenez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wells.
Gimenez throws a low kick but Wells moves out of range easily.

Wells throws a leg kick that is checked
and Gimenez counters with a nice body kick.
Crunch! Wells slams his shin into Gimenez's torso.
Wells displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gimenez.
Wells scores with a head kick.
Wells throws a nice head kick!
Wells throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Gimenez counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wells!
Wells really wants to buck Gimenez off and get back to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wells is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Gimenez trying to control but Wells is having none of it.
Gimenez has control of Wells's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wells regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Gimenez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wells wants to try and get back to his feet.

Wells is trying to stand up.
Gimenez is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gimenez extends the arm and Wells is forced to tap!
