Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Trancoso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes to the cage accompanied by 99 Problems Remix. Trancoso comes into a darkened arena with his song building. SGX - Composer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Cody Trancoso has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Trancoso defending well as Carter loads up on a big left hand.
Cody Trancoso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trancoso checks a low kick from Carter.
A cross from Carter lands.
Trancoso throws a shot to the body.
Carter staying out of range there.
Trancoso on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Carter scores with a jab to the jaw.
Trancoso takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Carter moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Trancoso drops his hands momentarily and Carter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Trancoso's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Trancoso duly obliges.
Carter feints a jab promting Trancoso to slip. Carter then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Trancoso slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Carter feints and then cracks Trancoso's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Trancoso down.
Trancoso looks gassed!

Carter connects with an inside leg kick.
Trancoso misses with a hook to the body
and Carter counters with a nice uppercut.
Carter dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Trancoso moves forwards but Carter connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Trancoso takes one on the button.
Carter darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Carter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Trancoso circles away quickly and effectively.
Carter throws a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carter ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A combination from Carter does no damage.
Trancoso on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Carter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Carter scores with a jab. Trancoso acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Carter feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Trancosos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Carter connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Trancoso is rocked!

and Carter counters with a stiff right hand.
Trancoso is still on wobbly legs! Can Carter finish him?
Carter lands a left and a right that send Trancoso crashing to the mat, dazed. Carter thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Carter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Carter lands with a hook. Trancoso tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Carter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Trancoso moves away.
Carter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Trancoso seems to have recovered his senses.
Good standup being displayed there by Carter as he connects with a hook.
Trancoso throws a hook to the side of Carter's head but Carter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Carter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Trancoso takes a kick to the side of the head.
Carter is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Carter tries a head kick but it misses.
Carter throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Carter looks to land a combination. Trancoso sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A swing and a miss from Trancoso.
Trancoso throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Carter sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Carter fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A solid body kick from Carter.
Carter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Trancoso doesn't seem bothered though.
Carter lands a nice shot to the body.
Trancoso on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Carter stuns Trancoso with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Carter sizes up Trancoso with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Carter feints and then cracks Trancoso's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Trancoso down.
Carter moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Carter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Trancoso on the side of the head.
Trancoso has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Carter.
Carter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Trancoso gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Carter.
Carter lands a glancing blow to the side of Trancoso's head.
Trancoso has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Carter finds it's way round the side to connect with Trancoso's head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Carter digs a good body shot into Trancoso's ribs.
Carter lands with a thumping leg kick.
Trancoso has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Trancoso there as he acknowledges the shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shawn Carter dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Trancoso on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Carter. Carter obviously looking to wear him down.
Carter lands with an overhand left.
Carter lands a leg kick that knocks Trancoso off balance momentarily.
Carter is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Trancoso can do to turn this around?
Trancoso has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Trancoso there as he acknowledges the shot.
Trancoso takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Trancoso takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Carter lands with a hook. Trancoso tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Trancoso's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
A left lands for Carter.
Carter cracks Trancoso with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Trancoso looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Carter finish him?
Carter lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carter fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Carter lands with a thumping leg kick.
Trancoso is breathing heavily.

Trancoso sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Carter drops Trancoso with a beautiful combination! Trancoso stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Carter is looking for the KO!
Carter gets in close and tags Trancoso with a short punch that almost sends Trancoso to the mat! Oh Trancoso is in big trouble! He turns his back on Carter, trying to create some distance but Carter rushes him, striking wildly and Trancoso goes down! The referee tackles Carter into the cage to end the fight! Carter is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shawn Carter!
