Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lang wants it to stay on the feet.
Simpson looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Lang avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Lang has momentary wrist control but Simpson slips an elbow through the middle.
Simpson scoring with punches to the head and body.
Lang utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Simpson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Simpson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Lang wriggles free and stands up.
Lang fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Klubber Lang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Simpson misses with a body shot
and Lang counters with a stiff right hand.
Lang throws a lazy right hand but Simpson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Simpson misses with a takedown attempt
and Lang counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Simpson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lang counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bart Simpson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lang thuds a left hand into Simpson's body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lang.
Simpson has his takedown stuffed
and Lang counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Simpson is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Simpson takes one on the button.
Simpson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Simpson walks into a left hand.
Simpson fails with the takedown
and Lang counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Simpson thinking.
A left lands for Lang.
Lang cracks Simpson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Simpson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lang pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Simpson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Klubber Lang!
