Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gabriel Braganca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ayumu Ochi!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braganca keeps the fight on the outside.
Ochi shoots in but Braganca avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ochi moves into range and clinches up with Braganca.
Ochi has Braganca pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Braganca manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ochi is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Braganca has clasped his hands together around Ochi's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Braganca is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ochi has escaped the position, nice work there.
Braganca is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ochi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Braganca tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Braganca tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Ochi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Braganca drops back looking for a leg! Ochi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ochi manages to kick Braganca off! Braganca jumps back into Ochi's guard.
Braganca is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Braganca in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Braganca pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ochi is keeping the position for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ochi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Braganca gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Braganca drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ochi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ochi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ochi!
Braganca is trying to get back to half guard.
Braganca is working hard here to advance position.
Braganca is not content to let Ochi control the position.
Ochi decides to stand back up.
Ochi looks for a takedown but Braganca sprawls well.
Gabriel Braganca has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ayumu Ochi.
Ochi looks gassed!

Ochi tries to keep at a distance but Braganca has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ochi stops a takedown attempt from Braganca.
Braganca manages to pull guard.
Braganca keeping moving, preventing Ochi from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Braganca has his foot on Ochi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ochi works his way back into a safe position though.
Ochi trying to control the position from guard on top but Braganca is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ochi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Braganca works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Braganca had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ochi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Braganca Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ochi's back instead.
Braganca is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Ochi has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Braganca has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Ochi taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Braganca doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Gabriel Braganca!
