Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Jooginz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Angelo Russo!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russo slips a straight right by Jooginz.
Jooginz misses with a looping left.
Russo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jooginz just misses with a punch to the body.
A combination from Jooginz does no damage.
Russo swings away with a body shot that misses
and Jooginz counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Russo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jooginz throws a shot from downtown. Russo moves away and avoids it.
Jooginz cracks Russo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A looping hook to the body misses from Russo. Jooginz does a little dance to reset his feet.

Jooginz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Russo prevents Jooginz from improving position.
Russo is looking for a sweep.
Russo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Jooginz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Russo is just riding it out for now. Jooginz eventually gives up the hold.
Russo is looking for a sweep. Jooginz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jooginz looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Jooginz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Russo keeps working.
Jooginz thows a huge punch but Russo dodges it nicely.

Jooginz is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jooginz throwing shots but Russo is blocking nicely.
Russo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Russo.
Russo keeping moving, preventing Jooginz from controlling successfully.

Russo is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jooginz rolls with it to try and escape but Russo cranks on the arm and Jooginz is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
