The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pound.
Pound looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Pound fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gonzales avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ground Pound. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gonzales lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pound tries for a takedown but Gonzales sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A big left from Gonzales misses.

Gonzales gets tackled into the cage by Pound. Pound maintains the clinch.
Pound changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gonzales fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Pound tries to clinch but Gonzales is having none of it.
