Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bill Carson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A cross from Lewis lands.
Lewis throws a one two combo.
Carson throws out a leg kick but Lewis moves out of range and Carson only half commits.
Lewis misses the jab.
Carson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lewis to score with a decent uppercut.
Lewis throws a nice looking combination but Carson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Carson throws a jab when Lewis was well out of range.
Carson dips to his left and cracks Lewis with an uppercut!
Carson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lewis.
Nice takedown defense from Carson. No joy for Lewis on that attempt.
Lewis plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Carson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lewis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Lewis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Carson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lewis lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Carson!
Carson manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Carson, under a barage of strikes from Lewis.
Lewis throwing shots but Carson is blocking nicely.

Lewis wants to free his trapped foot but Carson is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Carson wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lewis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Carson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lewis.

Carson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lewis.
Carson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lewis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Lewis cracks Carson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Carson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lewis throws a head kick that misses.
Lewis throws a right hand that Carson ducks under and follows up with a left that Carson also avoids with ease.

Lewis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Carson. That did some damage!
Carson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Carson tries to bum rush Lewis with a series of wild strikes but Lewis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Carson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Carson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lewis was well out of range. Poor timing from Carson.

Lewis clobbers Carson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Lewis scores with a jab. Carson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Carson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lewis moves away.
Carson lands a lovely overhand right.
Lewis is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Carson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lewis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Carson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lewis but Lewis pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lewis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lewis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Carson.
Donk. Carson catches Lewis right on the button with a cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lewis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Carson swings for the body but Lewis moves out of range.
Carson connects with a nice looking jab.
Lewis throws a shot from downtown. Carson moves away and avoids it.
Lewis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lewis there as he acknowledges the shot.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Carson fails with the takedown.
Mark Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Carson.
Lewis lands with a nice body punch.

Carson throws a push kick but Lewis slaps the foot to one side.

and Lewis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lewis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Lewis sizes up Carson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Carson shoots in for a double leg but Lewis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Carson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lewis finds it's way round the side to connect with Carson's head.
Carson misses with a hook. Lewis ducked under it nicely.
Lewis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Carson has time to react.

Lewis misses with a looping left.
Lewis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Carson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carson throws a head kick that misses.
Mark Lewis is winning the standup battle so far.
Carson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Decent striking displayed by Lewis there.
Carson tries to move into range but Lewis moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Nice straight punches there by Lewis. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lewis.
Carson is breathing heavily.
Carson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lewis is trying to defend but Carson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lewis gets full guard.

Lewis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Carson prevents Lewis from getting back to his feet.
Lewis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lewis cracks Carson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Carson is rocked!
Lewis softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Carson is out cold! Lewis jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Lewis!
