Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hamlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen Majulah Singapura as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hamlin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hamlin throws out the jab. A punch combination from Hamlin misses. Hamlin thuds his right hand into Lee's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Hamlin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Hamlin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lee defending well though. Hamlin is trying to control the action in half guard but Lee is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lee wants to control but Hamlin is keeping busy.
Hamlin is stalling here. Lee is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hamlin seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lee has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Hamlin prevents Lee from moving into mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee controls the position. Lee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Lee wants to control but Hamlin is keeping him busy. Lee moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hamlin has escaped the position, nice work there. Hamlin tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. You can see the frustration on Hamlin's face as Lee controls the position. Lee is looking to take a break and control but Hamlin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hamlin stops Lee from passing to mount. Lee trying to control the position but Hamlin is working away. Lee tries to move into full mount but can't pass Hamlin's legs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hamlin is not content to let Lee control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee tries for a kimura but Hamlin is defending well. Hamlin is breathing heavily. Hamlin is not content to let Lee control the position. Lee works to advance to full mount. Hamlin defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Lee tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lee trying to control but he's not successful this time. Lee controlling from mount. Hamlin can't escape the position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jay Lee hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Lee misses with a takedown attempt and Hamlin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Hamlin dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Lee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hamlin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Hamlin with a lazy takedown attempt and Lee counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hamlin won't be happy with that. Lee takes a little break here. Hamlin wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Lee tries to advance to mount but Hamlin denies him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee trying to control the position but Hamlin is working away. The referee asks Lee politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lee prefers to stall for the moment though. Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hamlin has escaped the position, nice work there. Lee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hamlin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lee working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hamlin! Lee trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hamlin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hamlin tries to get out of the position. Lee controlling the pace for now. Lee looking to control but Hamlin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Lee but it's paid off an Hamlin is forced to tap! Nice work by Lee.
