Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Hardy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Lee!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hardy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Hardy circles away.

Hardy lands a big head kick that sends Lee tumbling to the mat! Hardy takes a step backwards and waves Lee back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Lee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hardy is pawing at Lee, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Lee's nose. Lee is badly hurt! Hardy pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Lee tries desperately to hold on but Hardy is relentless in his assault! As Lee receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Hardy away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Hardy!
