The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banker looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Dupont is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Banker is breathing heavily.
Banker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dupont tries to avoid it but Banker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dupont to the ground. Dupont escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Banker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dupont is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dupont accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dupont really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Banker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
