Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Reinaldson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reinaldson has chosen Evenflow- Pearljam as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Matthew Reinaldson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matthew Reinaldson! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller scores with a nice right hand.
Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Reinaldson which made him look bad. Reinaldson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Reinaldson slaps away a takedown attempt from Miller, before circling back to the center of the mat. Miller jabbing away but nothing is landing. Miller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Miller controlling from the top position. Miller scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Miller passes Reinaldson's left leg - he's now in half guard. Miller with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Miller is looking to advance position but Reinaldson won't allow it. Miller stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Reinaldson to get to his feet. Miller shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Miller showed some decent athleticism there. Reinaldson wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reinaldson misses with some strikes from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Reinaldson is in trouble now - Miller has advanced to mount! Miller working for a submission but Reinaldson is keeping him at bay. Reinaldson wants to control but Miller is having none of it. Miller looking to control and managing it successfully. Reinaldson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Reinaldson wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Miller biding his time, looking for the opening.

That's one minute gone in the round. Miller thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Miller passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Reinaldson! Reinaldson is looking to get to half guard. Reinaldson tries to improve his position but instead Miller has taken his back! Reinaldson wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Reinaldson fending off the submission attempt from Miller. Miller lands an elbow to the side of the head. Reinaldson is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Reinaldson is trying to get back to his feet but Miller has full control of the position and if anything, Reinaldson has just worked his way into a worse spot. Miller really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Reinaldson. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller avoiding Reinaldson 's attempts to control his hands. Miller controlling from the back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Miller is trying to stick to Reinaldson's back but Reinaldson is turning into Miller. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Miller's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Reinaldson. Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jason Miller wasn't doing enough on the ground. Reinaldson tries to clinch up. Miller tries to clinch but fails miserably and Reinaldson counters with a solid body kick. Miller fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miller on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Miller fails with a takedown attempt. Reinaldson lands a big head kick that sends Miller tumbling to the mat! Reinaldson takes a step backwards and waves Miller back to his feet - he wants the finish! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Matthew Reinaldson will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Reinaldson batters Miller with a massive right followed by a huge left! Miller is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Reinaldson lands a final crushing right hand to drop Miller to the mat with a gruesome thud! Reinaldson is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
