The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jurgenson was well out of range. Poor timing from Wallace.
Wallace displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jurgenson throws out the jab.

Jurgenson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wallace gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jurgenson tries to improve his position but instead Wallace has taken his back!
Wallace has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Jurgenson's body.

Wallace really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Jurgenson.

Wallace is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jurgenson knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jurgenson for a finish.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jurgenson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
