Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kent Hytten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Professor F (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hytten comes to the cage accompanied by Wait and Bleed. The crowd seem to be enjoying F's choice of entrance music: shortest man in world. Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
F takes the fight into the clinch.
Hytten throws an elbow but it's blocked.
F blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hytten creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through F's defenses.
F blocks the elbow strike.
Hytten misses with an elbow strike.
Hytten throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
F is trying to drag Hytten to the mat but Hytten just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
F stalling in the clinch but Hytten improves position.
Hytten blocks a body shot from F.
Hytten lands an elbow inside that F shrugs off.
F stalling in the clinch.
F tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hytten misses with an elbow over the top.
F lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hytten.
Hytten connects with a nasty looking knee right to F's face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

F's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Hytten lands an elbow that stopped F in his tracks for a moment.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Hytten.
F blocks an elbow strike from Hytten.

Hytten creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Hytten scores with an uppercut up the middle.
F tries for a takedown but Hytten manages to get underhooks.
Kent Hytten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Professor F.
F tries to stall but Hytten uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hytten tries to land a knee to the head but F blocks with his arms.
F goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Hytten throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Hytten looking to throw knees to the head but F is blocking nicely.

F blocks an elbow strike from Hytten.
F misses with a hook to the ribs.
Come on F - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
F drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
F has Hytten pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. F pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hytten tumbling to the mat - F dives into Hytten's guard.
F looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
F won't allow Hytten to get back to his feet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hytten is on top in guard.
F manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hytten avoids a series of strikes thrown by F.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
F throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
F has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hytten can't escape the position.
BOOM! F connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hytten tries to lock up and control but F gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
F breaks from Hytten's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Poor strikes thrown by F there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
F lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
F pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
F looking for a guillotine from mount but Hytten is having none of it.

Hytten tries to reverse the position but F maintains control.
F punishing his opponent with strikes.
A nice elbow there by F.
F connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Hytten is rocked!
F loads up with a big shot that hurts Hytten! He's pulled F in close but F has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Hytten survive? More strikes from F and Hytten is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
