Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butch Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Edward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Butch Reed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Edward! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed moves into the clinch successfully.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Reed. Reed tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Edward just stands there and leans against the cage. Edward tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reed smiles and moves away.
Edward throws a leg kick which misses Reed's front leg but catches the back leg as Reed tries to avoid it. Ryan Edward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Edward looks to score with a jab to the body but Reed is just out of range. Reed wants to clinch up but Edward keeps it at a distance. Reed shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Edward pinned against the cage. Edward gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Reed fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Butch Reed. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Edward's waist but Edward gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reed off to one side. A combination from Edward does no damage. Reed throws a left and a right that both miss
and Edward counters with a thumping low kick. Edward tries to score with a low kick but Reed moves his leg out of the way. Reed walks into a jab. Edward lands with a right hand.
It looks like Butch Reed has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Edward lands a left and a right that send Reed crashing to the mat, dazed. Edward thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Reed is rocked! Reed is breathing heavily. Edward finds Reed's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Reed flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Edward lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Reed will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryan Edward!
