Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Isaev Ivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chris swick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). chris swick looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Isaev Ivan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, chris swick! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! swick avoids the head kick by Ivan.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ivan. swick drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Ivan looking to hit a scissor sweep but swick is one step ahead there. Ivan working for a triangle but swick defends it easily.
swick must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ivan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and swick defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. swick wants to stand but Ivan has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. swick looking to pass the guard. swick is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ivan throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Ivan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ivan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because swick is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. swick throwing strikes from guard but Ivan blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ivan wants to stand up but swick is controlling him. swick tries to free his leg and advance position but Ivan is retaining full guard. swick wants to control from the top but Ivan keeps moving. Ivan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. swick closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ivan quickly recovers to half guard. swick slips a nice elbow through Ivan's hands, connecting with Ivan's forehead. swick blocks the strikes from Ivan.

Ivan is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. swick content to control rather than advance. swick is pressing down on Ivan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ivan is holding on for now. swick sitting and controlling from the half guard. Ivan tries to get to full guard but swick has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. swick is trying to control the action in half guard but Ivan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
chris swick has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. swick throws a good cross that connects.
swick lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
swick is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ivan's half guard. swick looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Ivan wants to improve his position but swick is controlling well.
swick moves into full mount! Ivan won't be happy about that! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

swick closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ivan to the mat! Ivan manages to get full guard. swick's corner is telling him to maintain position. swick postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. swick wants to control from the top but Ivan keeps moving. swick throws a big right hand that misses. swick is looking to work some ground and pound but Ivan has wrist control. swick with a flurry of punches that miss. swick content to stall in guard here. swick wants to stand but Ivan is controlling his posture from full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ivan has his foot on swick's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. swick works his way back into a safe position though. swick wants to stand but Ivan has a closed guard, so he can't escape. swick is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. swick wants to control from the top but Ivan keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by chris swick. Ivan with a lazy takedown attempt and swick counters into the clinch. Nicely done. swick has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ivan uses from the top position. swick pulls Ivan in to control the position. swick's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Ivan preventing the sweep. swick is pulling down on Ivan's head. It's preventing any offense from Ivan, at least for the moment.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. swick gets a takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by chris swick. swick lands with a slapping head kick. swick's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and swick duly obliges. swick shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. chris swick has got the better of the ground game so far. Ivan tries to lock up and control but swick gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ivan is wriggling around trying to escape.
swick tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ivan is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
chris swick showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
swick closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Ivan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ivan prevents swick from moving into mount. Ivan is trying to improve his position. Ivan is being controlled here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ivan struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. swick taking a breather here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. chris swick wasn't active enough on the ground. Excellent takedown into side control there by swick. swick in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ivan tries to escape but swick is in control. swick working the ground and pound. swick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ivan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. swick lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ivan down.
swick decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ivan to his feet. swick scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. swick takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Ivan taking some punishment here, with swick in his half guard. swick prevents Ivan from improving his position. Ivan trying to control here.
swick is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by chris swick. swick shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than swick was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! swick tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. swick pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. swick with a couple of short strikes. swick with a couple of short strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! chris swick comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well swick has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
