The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Young somewhat.
Young goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Carter shoots in and bounces Young off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Young is breathing heavily.
Carter has gone for a leg lock! Young slips out almost immediately though and dives into Carter's guard.
Carter is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Young frees his head nicely. Oh but Carter has switched to an armbar! Young is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
