Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fidel Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Wilbur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Fidel Castro has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Fidel Castro seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fidel Castro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Wilbur! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Wilbur. Castro does a little dance to reset his feet. Wilbur throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Castro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wilbur was well out of range. Poor timing from Castro. Wilbur throws a head kick that misses. Castro takes a swing at Wilbur's ribcage but misses. Castro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wilbur circles away quickly and effectively. Wilbur fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Castro manages to avoid it. Castro connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wilbur's hands. Castro slips under a jab. Castro works the jab nicely. Wilbur tries to clinch but Castro is having none of it. A good leg kick by Wilbur. Wilbur fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wilbur misses the jab. Castro scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Castro swinging wildly here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Castro changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Marcus Wilbur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Castro tries to keep at a distance but Wilbur has taken the fight into the clinch. Wilbur throws an elbow but it misses.
Wilbur creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Wilbur lands a damaging elbow. Castro avoids the elbow strike from Wilbur, against the ropes.
Wilbur looks to throw an elbow but misses. Wilbur is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Castro pulls guard effortlessly. Wilbur sitting in guard, not really doing much. Castro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wilbur won't allow Castro to sweep him here. Castro working for a triangle but Wilbur defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilbur wants to control from the top but Castro keeps moving.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Marcus Wilbur wasn't active enough on the ground. Castro moves out of range as Wilbur strikes. Wilbur takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Castro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wilbur manages to avoid it. Wilbur throws a half hearted mid kick. Castro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Castro lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Wilbur tries to close the distance and clinch but Castro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wilbur moves in looking to clinch but Castro pushes him off. Castro uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wilbur.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A good leg kick by Wilbur. Wilbur wants to clinch. Wilbur throws a nice inside leg kick. Castro is breathing heavily. Castro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Castro is looking to wear down Wilbur with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Wilbur tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Castro manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Wilbur lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Castro thows a body shot but no joy. Wilbur connects with a solid leg kick. Wilbur tries to clinch there but Castro circles away.
Wilbur feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Castro's calf. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wilbur tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Castro manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Wilbur tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wilbur doesn't manage to clinch there - Castro circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Castro on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Castro gets tackled into the ropes by Wilbur. Wilbur maintains the clinch. Castro dodges an elbow strike from Wilbur.

It looks like Fidel Castro has been cut. Wilbur lands an elbow that stopped Castro in his tracks for a moment. Wilbur pushes off an throws an elbow but Castro leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes. Castro drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Fidel Castro's cut is getting worse. Wilbur comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Wilbur lands an elbow that stopped Castro in his tracks for a moment. Wilbur wants to stall.
Wilbur seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wilbur lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Fidel Castro's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Wilbur trying to control the position but instead, Castro has worked for underhooks and has pushed Wilbur into the ropes. Wilbur has Castro pressed against the ropes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Wilbur dominated that round. The cut man is working on Fidel Castro's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Wilbur throws a nice outside leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wilbur throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wilbur misses with a head kick.
Marcus Wilbur seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wilbur tries to clinch up. Wilbur tries to clinch up. Wilbur tries to clinch up but Castro circles away and keeps his distance. Castro is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Castro keeps the fight on the outside. A nice leg kick lands there from Wilbur. Wilbur wants to clinch up but Castro keeps it at a distance. The fighters circle, before Wilbur throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Castro's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Wilbur lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
