Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josh St Claire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Markus Mac!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Claire throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mac counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mac.
Mac postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mac trying to control the position from guard on top but St Claire is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mac throws a big right hand that misses.
Mac passes St Claire's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mac stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Mac looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Mac fails to land with a series of punches.

An inside leg kick lands from Mac.
St Claire throws a combination that misses
and Mac counters by clinching up.
St Claire tries to break the clinch but Mac is controlling the position.
Mac drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
St Claire tries to break free but Mac pushes him back against the ropes.
St Claire stops a takedown attempt from Mac.
St Claire is trying to break free.
Mac tries for a takedown. No joy.
Josh St Claire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Markus Mac.
Mac escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mac tries to bum rush St Claire with a series of wild strikes but St Claire uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
St Claire throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mac counters with a left and a right that stings St Claire.
St Claire misses with a double jab
and Mac decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in St Claire's guard.
Mac throwing strikes but missing.

St Claire wants to stand but Mac is controlling the position.
Mac has gone for a leg lock! St Claire slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mac's guard.
Mac tries to strike from the bottom.
Mac working for submissions but it's allowed St Claire to get to half guard.
St Claire tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Mac.

Mac is trying to maintain the position but St Claire is very close to passing his half guard.
St Claire passes into side control, despite Mac's attempt to control the position.
Mac is trying to get back to half guard.
Mac wants to control but St Claire postures up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mac wants to get back to his feet but St Claire drags him back down.
Mac is trying to control St Claire's posture but St Claire avoids it.
Mac is looking to reverse the position.
St Claire working away.
Mac looks to move to half guard but instead St Claire has passed into mount! Damn!
Mac sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Mac looking for subs from the bottom but St Claire mounts him!
Mac tries to hold on but St Claire pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Markus Mac dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Mac throws a series of punches but St Claire avoids them all with ease.
St Claire goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Mac scores with a body shot.
No joy there for Mac, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
St Claire throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mac stands and throws St Claire's legs to the side, diving into side control.
St Claire is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mac asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Mac is looking to take a break and control but St Claire is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mac has hold of St Claire's arm. He's looking for a kimura. St Claire seems comfortable defending it but Mac has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! St Claire is real pain and he's forced to tap out! St Claire is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mac couldn't care less - he's delighted!
