Brown has chosen Rammstein - Du Hast as his entrance music. Jack Brown is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPheters shoots in and drives through. Brown sprawls well.
Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McPheters manages to avoid it.

Brown instigates a clinch.

McPheters drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
McPheters is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Horrible takedown by McPheters or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown which made him look bad.

McPheters looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brown is fending him off so far but McPheters persists. Nope, Brown circles away and we're back to standing.

and Brown counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

McPheters closes the distance but Brown moves to the side

and Brown counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Brown.

McPheters takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
McPheters throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McPheters off to one side.

McPheters is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

McPheters shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A punch lands to the side of McPheters 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Brown slaps away a takedown attempt from McPheters, before circling back to the center of the mat.
McPheters drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Brown is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! McPheters had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Oh McPheters is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brown lands with a right and another and another! McPheters is in big trouble! Brown lands again and this time it's lights out for McPheters! A quality knockout there for Brown.
