Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kirill Stranglov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stranglov looks for a takedown but Smith sprawls well.
Stranglov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Smith as he avoids it easily.
Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stranglov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Smith drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stranglov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stranglov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stranglov!

Smith is looking to reverse the position.
Stranglov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Smith is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Smith is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Stranglov is looking to pass Smith's guard but actually Smith recovers to full guard.
Smith is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Stranglov sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Smith escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stranglov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Smith wants to sweep here but Stranglov controlling him for the moment.
Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stranglov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stranglov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Stranglov wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.

Well, if Stranglov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Smith is looking for a sweep. Stranglov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

and Smith counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Smith is fighting to break Stranglov's control of his arms but Stranglov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Stranglov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Smith is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Stranglov has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Smith has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Stranglov should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Smith has tightened it up now! Stranglov should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
