Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lay Pray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terell Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pray comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Fear the Reaper- Blue Oyster Cult. Lay Pray has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lay Pray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Terell Wright!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright misses with a series of wild punches.
Pray avoids the head kick by Wright.

Pray shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Pray is stalling in the full guard.
Wright thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Wright can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pray controls the pace.

Pray's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Pray seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wright for as long as he can get away with.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wright can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Terell Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pray shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wright pinned against the cage. Wright gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Oooooh!!! Pray has knocked Wright down with a huge combo! Pray steps away and waves a wobbly Wright back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pray is taking a breather. Wright says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
