The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jettsen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jettsen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jettsen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bonnar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jettsen moves nicely into side control. Bonnar gets back to half guard. Jettsen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bonnar is just riding it out for now. Bonnar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bonnar is tying to control. Jettsen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bonnar has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jettsen defend it? Bonnar steps over the head and cranks it - Jettsen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bonnar!
