Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sead Coric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ron Foster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sead Coric! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coric closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Coric is looking to take a break and control but Foster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Foster is trying to get back to his feet. Coric wants to lay and pray for a moment but Foster keeps working. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Coric taking a break here but Foster is having none of it and regains half guard. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Coric has eaten all the pies!
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster looks like he's trying to stand up.
Coric decides to stand up. Foster pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A punch combination from Foster misses. Foster lands a jab-cross combination. Foster lands with a slapping head kick. Ron Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Foster connects with a high kick. Coric misses with a series of wild punches.
Coric tries to clinch up but Foster circles away and keeps his distance. Ron Foster is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Coric fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Foster, pushing him back against the cage. Coric trying to control the position but instead, Foster has worked for underhooks and has pushed Coric into the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Coric - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Coric scores with an uppercut up the middle. Foster successfully pulls guard.
Foster pushes Coric off and gets back to his feet.
Foster wants to clinch up but Coric keeps it at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foster lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Coric circles away quickly and effectively. Foster lands a head kick. Coric smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Sead Coric has been cut. Coric closes this distance looking for a takedown but Foster circles away. Foster instigates a clinch. Coric wants to stall.
Foster keeps control of Coric as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Foster throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Coric looks gassed! Coric drops down looking for an ankle pick but Foster pulls his leg out and moves away.
Foster stuffs the takedown. Ron Foster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sead Coric. Coric on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Coric on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Foster. Foster obviously looking to wear him down.
Foster goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Foster is looking to slow Coric down with leg kicks. Coric takes a kick to the side of the head. Foster has closed the distance and engaged Coric in a clinch.
Foster has Coric pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Foster pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Coric tumbling to the mat - Foster dives into Coric's guard. Foster content to stall in guard here. Foster is looking to work some ground and pound but Coric has wrist control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Foster tries to clinch up but Coric circles away and keeps his distance. Foster moves into the clinch. Foster gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Coric.
Coric decides to pull guard. Foster prevents Coric from getting back to his feet. Foster drops back looking for a leg! Coric is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Coric manages to kick Foster off! Foster jumps back into Coric's guard. Foster content to stall in guard here. Foster trying to control but Coric is working from the bottom. Coric is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Coric works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Foster is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Foster won't allow Coric to get back to his feet. Foster controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Foster drops back looking for a leg! Coric is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Coric manages to kick Foster off! Foster jumps back into Coric's guard. Coric keeping moving, preventing Foster from controlling successfully. Foster advances to half guard. Foster wants to take a breather but Coric is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coric won't allow Foster to pass to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foster is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foster is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Coric! Foster looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Foster working for a submission but Coric is keeping him at bay. That's four minutes gone in the round. Coric tries to reverse the position but Foster maintains control. Foster looking to ground and pound but Coric is blocking nicely. Foster controlling from mount. Foster trying to control but he's not successful this time. Foster is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Coric to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Coric shrugs it off. Coric is squirming around, avoiding Foster's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Foster fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Foster tries to clinch but Coric is having none of it. Coric shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Foster as he avoids it easily. Foster rushes Coric and presses him up against the cage. Foster controlling the action here for a moment.

Foster presses Coric against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Foster is leaning against Coric and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Foster is trying to trip Coric. He has hold of a leg but Coric is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Foster persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Foster trying to control but Coric is working from the bottom. Foster controlling from the top position. Foster slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coric tries to buck Foster off but Foster is having none of it. Foster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Coric keeps working. Foster is really struggling to control Coric but he's trying to hold on to the position. Coric can't do much from the bottom here. Foster lands a few punches from side control. Foster is working to tighten is grip on Coric's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Coric has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Foster is really squeezing tight and eventually Coric passes out! Foster breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
