Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Overeem in particular looking to stall.
Overeem is trying to work for a kimura but Wood is defending well.
Overeem content to control rather than advance.

Wood is trying to drag Overeem to the mat but Overeem just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

No joy there for Wood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
