Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendes walks into a left hand.
Pacquiao jabs at Mendes's body.
Pacquiao slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mendes throws a nice looking combination but Pacquiao bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mendes connects with a leg kick. Pacquiao looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Pacquiao rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mendes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pacquiao misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mendes.
Mendes lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Pacquiao sprawling to the canvas. Mendes follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Pacquiao hang on?
Pacquiao is rocked!
It looks like Manny Pacquiao has been cut.
Mendes uses his free foot to push down on Pacquiao's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pacquiao.
Pacquiao is still in real trouble! Can Mendes finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mendes wants to control the pace but Pacquiao is squirming around nicely.
Pacquiao seems to have recovered his senses.
Pacquiao looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Mendes lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Pacquiao is in bad spot here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mendes tries to keep control of the position but Pacquiao is staying busy.
Pacquiao holding both Mendes 's hands and preventing any damage.
Mendes throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Pacquiao!
Oooh a big shot gets through from Mendes. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Mendes has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Pacquiao has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Mendes working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Pacquiao is doing well to defend. Mendes seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Pacquiao is forced to tap and this one is over!
