Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Babcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karva Jorgos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorgos is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Schnappi Das Kleine Krokodil . Karva Jorgos is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Karva Jorgos!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babcock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jorgos shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Babcock eats them both and turns towards Jorgos to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Some wild striking there from Babcock.
Babcock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jorgos moves away.
Babcock shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Babcock. Jorgos does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jorgos looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jorgos wants to clinch up but Babcock keeps it at a distance.
Babcock looks to score with a jab to the body but Jorgos is just out of range.
The fighters circling - Babcock throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Good exchange - Jorgos coming out on top.
Jorgos takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Babcock tries to bum rush Jorgos with a series of wild strikes but Jorgos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Babcock throws a body punch but Jorgos moves out of range.

Jorgos connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Babcock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jorgos stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Babcock stuffs the takedown attempt from Jorgos. Jorgos gets slowly back to his feet.
Babcock throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jorgos will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jorgos misses with a straight right.
Babcock throws a right hand that Jorgos ducks under and follows up with a left that Jorgos also avoids with ease.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Nice uppercut there from Babcock.

and Babcock counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Babcock counters with a three punch combo that has Jorgos backing up. Jorgos nods at Babcock to acknowledge the strikes.

Babcock is looking to wear down Jorgos with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Babcock shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Babcock was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jorgos's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Babcock with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Babcock counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jorgos won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jorgos tries to bench press Babcock off him but Babcock keeps the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Babcock looks up at the clock and then as Jorgos takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Babcock smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Jorgos has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Babcock. Oh but Jorgos has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Babcock goes limp - he's gone! Jorgos jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
