Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Davies misses.
Davies throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Davies fails to land with a series of punches.
Zoulam fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Zoulam tries to clinch up but Davies circles away and keeps his distance.
Davies lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zoulam circles away quickly and effectively.
Zoulam shoots in but Davies avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zoulam tries for a takedown but Davies sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Midhaz Zoulam. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Davies will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zoulam blocks a head kick by Davies.
Zoulam tries for a takedown but Davies sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Zoulam counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Zoulam stops Davies from standing up.
Zoulam postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Davies is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Zoulam, into his guard.
Davies looks gassed!
Zoulam uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zoulam swings for the body but Davies moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Davies scores with a jab to the jaw.
Zoulam tries for a takedown but Davies sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Davies throws a lazy head kick
and Zoulam counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zoulam.
Zoulam stands and throws Davies's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zoulam is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Davies looks calm but he's in trouble here. Zoulam gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Davies is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Zoulam lets go of the hold and Davies can pop his arm back in it's socket.
