Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim Falcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Beaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falcon comes to the cage accompanied by Turbo Charged. Frank Beaver has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tim Falcon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Beaver!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcon closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Falcon shoots in and bounces Beaver off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Falcon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Beaver manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Falcon has Beaver in his guard.

Falcon looking for subs off his back but Beaver has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Still in half guard, Beaver seems content to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Falcon looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Beaver is looking to advance position but Falcon won't allow it.

Falcon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Beaver pulls his head out easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Falcon trying to control but Beaver postures up.
Beaver takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Falcon wants to control the action here but instead Beaver manages to pass to full mount!
Beaver tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Beaver's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Beaver dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Falcon has Beaver up against the cage in a clinch.
Falcon is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Beaver gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Beaver drops down looking for an ankle pick but Falcon pulls his leg out and moves away.

so Falcon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Falcon prevents Beaver from getting back to his feet.

Falcon has gone for a leg lock! Beaver slips out almost immediately though and dives into Falcon's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beaver looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Falcon has an active guard here but Beaver has managed to pass into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Falcon looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Beaver with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Let's hope that Beaver has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Beaver works his way into side control.
Falcon wants to control but Beaver postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Beaver just content to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tim Falcon will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Beaver looks to clinch

and Falcon counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Beaver scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Falcon misses with a body shot.
Falcon misses with a two punch combination.
Tim Falcon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beaver darts in trying to clinch
and Falcon counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Beaver is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Falcon tries to bum rush Beaver with a series of wild strikes but Beaver uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Falcon counters by moving into the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Falcon stops a takedown attempt from Beaver.
Falcon fails to pull guard.
Falcon is pressed up against the cage. Beaver has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Falcon down to the mat. Falcon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Beaver gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Falcon counters with a single leg into guard. Beaver didn't expect that.
Tim Falcon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Beaver.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Falcon trying to move into half guard but instead Beaver has managed to sweep!

Beaver avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Falcon throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Falcon controls Beaver momentarily but Beaver frees himself.
Tim Falcon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Falcon throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Beaver is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tim Falcon showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Falcon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
