Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kamil Jurasik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jurasik has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Nick Hero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kamil Jurasik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Hero!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hero looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jurasik!
Jurasik looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Hero controlling the pace for now.
Hero's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Hero throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hero controlling from the full mount.
Hero punching from mount but Jurasik doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Hero looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Jurasik on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jurasik tries to get out of the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hero controlling the position easily from mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Hero there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Hero misses with a head shot.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jurasik blocking the ground and pound.
Jurasik wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hero.

Hero is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jurasik to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jurasik shrugs it off.
Hero throws some wild stikes that Jurasik manages to avoid easily.

Hero working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Hero manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jurasik to take his back!
Hero biding his time, looking for the opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hero has the hooks in. Jurasik is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick Hero dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Hero looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jurasik is fending him off so far but Hero persists. Nope, Jurasik circles away and we're back to standing.
Jurasik stuffs the takedown.

Hero feints and as Jurasik raises his hands in defense, Hero changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hero has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jurasik is looking to sweep but instead, Hero has passed into half guard.
Hero trying to control the pace.
Let's hope that Hero has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hero moves nicely into side control.
Jurasik is looking to get back to his feet here but Hero is keeping cool and he's managed to take Jurasik's back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hero is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Hero is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Jurasik is really stuck here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Hero working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Jurasik is doing well to defend. Hero seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Jurasik is forced to tap and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Nick Hero!
