The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pliskin's waist but Pliskin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wallace off to one side.

Wallace gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Pliskin wants to control from the top but Wallace keeps moving.

Pliskin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wallace has his foot on Pliskin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pliskin works his way back into a safe position though.

Wallace working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pliskin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pliskin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Pliskin looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Wallace! Submission of the night perhaps?
