Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeremi Jeremiski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aoki Aomi!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aomi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Aomi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jeremiski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Aomi tries to clinch up but Jeremiski circles away and keeps his distance.
Aomi works over Jeremiski's head and body with a nice combination.
That kick from Jeremiski tenderised Aomi's leg. Aomi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Aomi is looking to clinch but Jeremiski is avoiding it.
Aomi moves in looking to clinch but Jeremiski pushes him off.
Jeremiski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jeremiski lands in his opponent's guard.
Jeremiski trying to control but Aomi is working from the bottom.
Aomi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jeremiski has picked Aomi up and slammed him! Aomi can't keep hold of the triangle and Jeremiski manages to pass to side control!
Aomi gets back to half guard.
Aomi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jeremiski pulls his head out easily.
Aomi is pressing down on Jeremiski's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Jeremiski wants to control from the top but Aomi keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jeremiski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aomi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jeremiski has managed to get both his arms back between Aomi's legs - danger averted.
Aomi is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aomi is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Aomi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jeremiski defends well.
Jeremiski stopping the sweep attempt from Aomi.
Jeremiski throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Aomi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Aomi keeping moving, preventing Jeremiski from controlling successfully.
Aomi has his foot on Jeremiski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jeremiski works his way back into a safe position though.

Aomi has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jeremiski doesn't defend quickly enough and Aomi has managed to lock this one up! Can Jeremiski escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Aomi on a fantastic submission victory.
