Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yallen Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silver comes to the cage accompanied by Like Light to the Flies - Trivium. Randy Cross will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross shoots in for a double leg but Silver sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cross misses with a wild combination.
Silver looks to score with a jab to the body but Cross is just out of range.
Cross misses with a double jab.
Silver misses with a looping left.
Cross lands a jab-cross combination.
Silver gets the takedown into side control.
Cross is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Silver has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Cross throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Cross misses with a hook. Silver ducked under it nicely.
Cross gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Silver counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cross!
Cross's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Cross is in a horrible position here. Silver smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The referee warns Cross that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Cross looks gassed!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Cross really wants to buck Silver off and get back to his feet.
Silver lands with some strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silver postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cross looks a forlorn figure.

Cross takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Silver's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
