The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Parcon's head.
Parcon tries for a takedown but Santiago sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Parcon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Santiago tries to avoid it but Parcon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Santiago to the ground. Santiago escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Parcon. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

It looks like Nico Parcon has been cut.
Santiago cracks Parcon on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Parcon falls backwards against the cage. Santiago follows up with more strikes that drop Parcon to his knees. Santiago keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Parcon! This one is all over!
