Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolf Messing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Messing's entrance music is Young Jeezy - I Put On. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Couture lands in his opponent's guard.
Couture throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Messing works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Couture with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Couture must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Couture lands a couple of elbows.
Messing looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Messing holds on and takes a little breather.
Messing is trying to control the position but Couture postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Couture shoots in for a takedown but Messing shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Messing slaps away a takedown attempt from Couture, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Couture closes the distance and clinches up with Messing, looking for a takedown. Couture pushes Messing against the cage but Messing circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Messing seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Couture for as long as he can get away with.

Messing feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Messing seems to be looking for submissions.
Couture tries to kick Messing off but Messing keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Couture is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Messing locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Couture is forced to tap!
