Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tim Blast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron St James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blast comes into the arena with Goldfinger - Superman blaring out of the sound system. Cameron St James will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Blast! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron St James! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blast scores with a nice strike. St James tries to land a front kick but Blast steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Blast looks to land a right hand but St James moved out of range. Blast throws a wild combination but nothing lands. St James slips a straight right by Blast. Cameron St James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blast slips a straight right by St James. A telegraphed takedown attempt from St James is defended easily by Blast. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. St James throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Blast tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. St James is in Blast's guard.

Tim Blast is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. St James shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. St James throws the left hand but Blast avoids the punch easily. St James shoots in and gets a takedown into Blast's guard. St James postures up.
Blast is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because St James is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. St James seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Blast wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. St James wants to control from the top but Blast keeps moving. Blast might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Blast looks to land a combination. St James sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. St James shoots in looking for a takedown. Blast tries to sprawl out of it but St James keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blast manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tim Blast has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cameron St James. St James misses with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. St James works over Blast's head and body with a nice combination. Blast swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Blast fails to land with a series of punches.
St James lands a head kick. Blast smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Blast blocks a leg kick. Blast uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by St James.

Tim Blast is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. St James tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cameron St James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. St James shoots for a double leg takedown but Blast sprawls well. He's pushed St James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tim Blast has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cameron St James. Blast slips under a jab from St James. St James bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. St James throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. St James wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blast keeps working. St James looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Blast is trying to control St James's posture but St James avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St James thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. St James throwing shots but missing, from side control. St James looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Blast is avoiding damage well.
Blast is not content to let St James control the position. Blast takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Tim Blast has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. St James tries for a kimura but Blast is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! Cameron St James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well St James has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
